Steve’s main focus at e-centre Limited is to assist companies in developing their capability to convert their innovation and entrepreneurship into growth focussed /investment ready companies. His special area of interest is in developing organisations’ knowledge databases to allow them to convert their corporate knowledge into more effective business information.

Steve is also the founder/director of a software development company specialising in business intelligence systems.

Business Development Manager

Dorian has joined the e-centre as Business Development Manager. He has an extensive strategy and management experience through a variety of roles. Dorian has over 10 years experience in the commercialisation of science and bridging the gap between academic and industry. The main aim of his role is to continue to develop the North Shore/North Auckland business network, identifying growth orientated companies requiring assistance in marketing and technology development.

Steve Corbett was appointed e-centre CEO in February 2001. Steve is a former partner of a major accounting and consulting practice. He has significant experience across a range of disciplines including business advisory, taxation, project management and management consulting both in New Zealand and Australia. He was also a member of the Board of Partners, adviser on a number of mergers and acquisitions, company buy-outs and floatations, and acted as Director to several companies.

The management focus is on building capability into the e-centre enterprises to help them grow. We achieve this through helping the enterprises develop policies, procedures and methodologies as well as building their customer networks.
