e-centre companies gain access to a range of networking opportunities
- Residents are surrounded by companies that are at a similar or more advanced stage of development to them, allowing daily contact with people who have experienced and understand the issues.
- Residents gain access to the extensive networks of the e-centre, Enterprise North Shore and Massey University which provides them with advice and assistance in areas ranging from business and marketing planning through to assistance with accessing funding.
- The Auckland IT cluster and other networking groups frequently hold a networking function at the e-centre. This provides opportunities for small companies to collaborate on projects and to meet like minded business people and discuss current issues and opportunities for collaboration in a relaxed social environment.
- The e-centre is linked into a number of local and national networks which residents can participate in such as Software Association of NZ, Incubators New Zealand and the North Shore Business Investment Network.
“I have found the e-centre to be an extremely supportive platform for growing my business concept into reality. Constant feedback and networking with the right people has been a key factor in our rapid growth.”
