e-centre Alumni

The e-centre has focused on those companies in the software development area who are looking to develop a global niche for their product area.
The companies are typically resident between 24 – 48 months.

Our first technology graduate company was Cleanflow Systems. In July 2005, a further three companies graduated; Esphion, S4, and BiPredict. All the companies are focused on developing an international market.

(www.qlbs.com) provides assessment methodology and software systems to consultants, business advisors, cluster and business managers in public and private sector organizations who want a standardized process for assessing and benchmarking business performance. QLBS.com's Q100 software loads a given assessment, captures the answers, and produces results for analysis and benchmarking.

Zeald.com
(www.zeald.com)is one of the fastest growing website design and e-business consultancy companies in New Zealand.  Its vision is to help small to medium sized companies generate amazing results online using a website and other methods of electronic marketing

Celebrating Success
Cleanflow Systems (www.cleanflowsystems.com) won two awards at the Westpac Enterprise North Shore Business Excellence Awards in August 2004. The two categories were Excellence in Exporting and Excellence in Innovation for the ClearLine Profiler product. The company has continued to grow, especially in Europe and Asia and is still based on the University campus.

2006
Esphion (www.esphion.com) has relocated into the Albany Basin and recently was named a Red Herring 100 Asia company. The Award recognises 100 private companies in Asia that drive the technology industry’s future. The company is currently developing its market into the USA.

In October 2005, Esphion won two categories at the Allied Telesyn New Zealand Hi Tech Awards: the Navman Emerging Company of the Year and Enatel Most Innovative Product of the Year.

BiPredict (www.bipredict.com) develops business intelligence systems for retailers and is currently developing the product for sale online.

The e-centre currently has 12 companies on site in The Bob Tindall Building, at various stages of development with planned exit strategies.
