Soft Tech develops and markets configuration and order management applications based on unique patent pending configuration technology. Our applications provide a unified solution for a wide range of industries to overcome problems associated with nested configuration, engineer to order, guided selling, complex pricing all within the sales order entry process. The resulting orders are then processed to purchasing, manufacturing and fulfilment.

The company is focussed upon a niche market, viz the fenestration (doors and windows) market, and in particular large commercial manufacturers of complex aluminium frames such as sky scraper claddings. 80% of the company�s revenue is derived from overseas. Customers include Kawneer (the aluminium extruding subsidiary of Alcoa) and US Aluminum.

The e-centre has provided an environment in which �bleeding edge� IT companies can discuss issues of common concern and learn from each other�s successes and mistakes. The commercial advice received both formally and informally from e-centre staff has been most helpful.
